New Vision Educational Development, Inc. is a private nonprofit corporation based in Arizona, dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of educational, therapeutic, rehabilitation, and social services for individuals facing developmental, physical, and behavioral health challenges.

Founded in 2020, NVED envisions a world where all individuals actively participate in shaping their living arrangements, educational pursuits, work environments, and recreational activities. With a commitment to empowerment, NVED serves over 8,000 people, witnessing continual growth as they strive to achieve greater independence, stability, and productivity through their distinctive program, Marc.

The story of New Vision Educational Development is a true Made-in-America narrative, initiated by Dr. Boyer Cross’s common goal of enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities. Initially focusing on education, NVED’s services expanded over the years to meet evolving needs. Presently, the organization offers a diverse range of services, including:

  • Home and center-based early intervention services for preschool-aged children in physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
  • Daily living services catering to adults with severe developmental delays.
  • Community resources addressing self-help skills, academics, social skills, and safety orientation.
  • Employment programs providing practical training and job placement.
  • Crisis intervention and defensive driving training for direct care workers.
  • Pet therapy program.
  • Inter-generational housing, fostering family unity.
  • Vocational and residential services tailored for adults dealing with severe mental illnesses.
  • Transportation services facilitating access to day treatment programs and activities.
