Hi all. I'm new to nonprofits after two decades of corporate work and consulting. I'm on week 3 of my new job at a very small organization, and I'm kind of at a loss as to how to interpret my experience.
As of today, my email is still not working properly, my phone isn't set up, I haven't been given access to any internal files/documents, I haven't been given access to FDO/GrantStation/whatever they use, and I haven't been assigned any projects. I'm quite experienced so I've been able to create things to do, but I don't really feel supported or like this is going very well. I'm not being given what I need to succeed or even to do much work, despite asking for things specifically (like file access or login credentials).
Is this normal? What should I do?
