Hey all. First, thank you for busting your ass for something you care about. I know how it is to make a difference in your community. I made pennies on the front lines. BUT HOLY SHIT! Working for a BIG company is insane. I barely have to justify my existence and pull down 6 figures. In a for profit there are so many people/positions that would never exist in a nonprofit that I have no clue what they do. So my advice: put a few years in making a difference in your community, then get yours. Sell out. You made a difference, now take care of yourself. Who knows, in 10-15 years you can make enough to go back to nonprofits.
