Responding to Research Enquiries

Hi all! Not new to Reddit but this is my first time posting about work, so I've created a new account for it.

I am in a management-level position at a small NGO in a developing country. We fairly regularly receive enquiries from students writing undergraduate or master's theses. These often come to my inbox, and can range from wanting to arrange a call to ask me questions, to wanting to travel to our country and have us facilitate interviews with the populations we serve.

I am interested to know how other NGOs handle such requests.

Our team's time is limited and there is, as far as I can see, no real benefit to us from being mentioned in an undergraduate thesis. On the other hand, I would love to be helpful! Complicating the matter is that it is often clear that the students enquiring have not yet received any guidance on interacting with vulnerable people and have very little understanding of cultural norms in our region.
