My organization offers staff $400 to use towards professional development opportunities. I want to advance my career in the nonprofit world but I’m unsure as to what skills I could strengthen to make myself a stronger candidate for future employers/orgs. Some background, I’ve worked on nonprofits for only 3 years. Currently a program coordinator but would eventually want to move into management. I used my last PD funding to take management course, which was super insightful and helped me learn the capacity needed to fulfill a management role. How would you use this funding to help advance your career or strengthen skill sets?
