Hey everybody! I apologize for the quasi-vagueness but because it’s sensitive I’m gonna keep some things discreet. That being said,
I’m doing some research in regards to nonprofits in a specific business sector in the US. One of the dominant nonprofits is the sole subsidiary of a for profit company. This non-profit has 3/4 of a billion dollars in the bank. I’m just wondering how it’s possible for a nonprofit to stow away that much money and still be considered a nonprofit.
