Coming up on one year of my entry-level job with a local nonprofit. I do communications work, training facilitation/development, supervise interns, plan events, etc. I produce really great work and I got outstanding feedback during my 6mo evaluation with my boss. My current salary is approx. 40k/year.
I was just notified by my boss that I will be receiving a 3% raise (woohoo!) – I have never received a raise before. I'm reading a bit online that annual raises average between 3-5%, but I wanted to see if this raise is reasonable for the nonprofit sector. Thanks!
