SO I made a silly mistake when registering for my EIN number and 501c3 application. I accidentally misnamed my entity because I thought it had an extra word in it. When I called the IRS to resolve the issue, the person on the phone told me I shouldn't have made the mistake in the first place. So, not very helpful but she did give me 2 numbers to fax. I have no idea where to start off writing these letters explaining my stupid mistake. SOS?
P.S. Before people come at me, I know this was a ridiculous mistake I made. I feel stupid for making it. I just need help fixing it.
