I am a graduate student completing my “capstone” course and me and my team have been assigned an actual non-profit to help. Any advice on finding funding opportunities for a smaller non profit org?

Me and my capstone team have been assigned a non profit to help with improving their organization. The non profit is based out of the US and works specifically for Syrian humanitarian efforts and is relatively small. Our teams goal is to expand their digital presence, find funding opportunities and raise overall awareness. We are supposed to present to the organization in a few weeks. My question is, how do you find specific grants and funding opportunities? Its so overwhelming looking through all these sites and the eligibility requirements. If anyone has any tips or recommended resources it would be much appreciated. Thank you!
