I have been recently tasked to perform an audit on the grants received, but I have never done an audit having to do with remuneration until now. I wanted to know if anyone had any further incite as to what to look for outside of some of the basics that I will list below. I'm sure this is a test of my ability to perform as I'm relatively new here but I figure while I have a resource like reddit, I'd pick the brains of my fellow redditors.
Things I will already be looking at:
· Project timelines, deliverables and milestones.
· Program income and budgets.
· Sub-recipient activities.
· Status of funds spent.
· Financial expenditures and budget narratives.
