Employment advice – transitioning from the corporate world

I’m currently a special projects specialist for the finance division of a broadcast media company and I have many years (15+) business experience in sales, digital marketing, e-commerce, and sourcing. I’m also very tech savvy and have done web development and some database administration.

Basically, I have a lot of experience that I feel could translate to supporting a nonprofit… what I don’t have is a bachelors degree.

Is there any hope for me to find a paid role at a nonprofit without going back to school? TBH, most nonprofit careers don’t seem to pay enough to make the cost of returning to college valuable to me. I’m willing to take a $20-30k reduction in salary to work for an organization that supports causes I believe in, but I’d like to avoid investing $60k for the privilege 😅.
