At my organization, we put out quarterly donor publications. I do the design and write the copy. We follow a pretty basic formula where we write a story about how donors have made an impact with their gifts, then we talk about an issue or obstacle we're facing, and make a request for more donations. This formula has been working very well for a very long time, but I'd like to mix it up so that things don't get stale.
