BS in IT to MPE/MPP? Tech support analyst looking for a change

I graduated in 2019 in IT and knew quickly that it wasnt the best fit for me. I do enjoy analytics and Im split between completely focusing on data analytics or getting an MPP/MPA.

Right now Im starting to study data analytics on the side, but I've been strongly considering a Masters in something that would open up doors for in me in work that would be more meaningful to me.

Data analytics interests me, but I want to be able to work for a non-profit or government.

MPP really interests me. analyzing, evaluating, and solving all aspects of policy. I'd love to explore that.

but right now my resume screams IT and I dont know what direction I can take. Positioning myself to get a masters would seems like a direct route. I live between two major universities that offer MPP programs.

Thoughts?
